About Me & Miniskirt Murder

Who Am I?

Careerwoman. Fledgling businessperson. Wannabe entrepreneur. I suppose ShopPinwheel.com makes me a real entrepreneur, now. Someday women’s empowerment expert (the kind of expertise that comes from experience, please).

How about we focus less on the to-do’s and more on the DOING. You know, creating value. Adding value. Don’t even get me started on the alternative.

Learning to trust myself, or better yet, starting to actually believe I can trust myself (amazing!).

Befriended and mentored by people who get it.

The blog and why:

I’m not one of these bloggers who has it all figured out and is already living it. But I’m ok with that, because I’ll get to my version of there someday. And in the meantime, I hope you’ll follow along on miniskirtmurder.com, or- even better- fill me in on how you’re changing your life for the better.

If you’re new, maybe you should start here:

Some of these are pretty long, but they’ll give you the best idea of where I’m coming from (I caution that it may appear to be a place of extreme confusion ;)

The day I realized my dreams were kind of boring, I started thinking I needed to pin down my values before I could really figure out what I want in life. I’m getting there, I think.

A series on lessons I learned the hard way: Getting what you want, instead of taking what you can get, Expectations, On Knowing, The path to success, On (eek!) Money, Stop showing up when you quit!

Working from home: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, and Part 5.

Your mom. Or really my mom. Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, and Isn’t this ridiculous.

A post I like.

Fear and the empire. Oh and ps? You already are an entrepreneur.

Finally, don’t be this girl. Be that girl.
